Tonight, Coach K showed 'Lil Dirk (aka Callie) and Mindy "The Jet" Abbott some drills and plays for the upcoming first practice of the 'Lil Mavs basketball team. Kecin will be coaching Callie's basketball team this season and both are very excited to start. This Saturday will be the first practice. A couple of the girls from our church will also be joining the team. The team will be practicing at the junior high right in Ferris, TX. We have posted some of the pre-practice pictures. Looks like fun. I loved playing basketball. Still do like shooting hoops and playing pick-up games. I think the last time I played was last year at Church.
I was eyeing baskteballs at Target the other day....
Are you going to be helping with practices or just be a cheerleader?
Hopefully, I will be able to help out a little. Kevin was teaching both Callie and I some of the drills for practice. Kevin's friend Clint will probably be helping as well, so if there are days that he can't make it, then hopefully I can offer some help.
