Well, today the 'Lil Mavs suffered a loss. In the first period, the team was down 8-0 and managed to hold off any more points at half. It didn't look good though. The other team had an unfair advantage with a 10 year old who apparantly is still in second grade. Lots of parents were complaining about this and the assistant coach almost was thrown out of the game! haha In the second half, the girls had some foul shot attempts and two baskets made by Callie. In the end the girls lost 12-5. Before the game, we watched our next opponent which looked stronger. Hopefully, next week the girls will rise out on top again.

Should the child be allowed to play if they can't pass class? Anyway hopefully the girls will have better luck next week! If not send Kevin out looking for and 11 yr old who is in Second grade. You guys have a good week!
Well that just stinks about the older player. Oh well, an early lesson in "Life isn't fair". I found myself holding my breath every shot and pass - - maybe its good I just have to watch cats.
